Devin completed his training in Massage in Toronto, at the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage, where he became a licensed RMT with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, before relocating to British Columbia in 2020, and transferred his License to BC.
Before graduation, Devin worked in co-op placements in the cardiovascular ward of Toronto General Hospital, the high-risk pregnancy wing of Sunnybrook Hospital, at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Lyndhurst Centre for spinal injuries, at the Loyola Arrupe Centre for Seniors, and Sutherland-Chan’s own sports clinic. In these environments, Devin faced rigorous challenges, treating patients with severe conditions ranging from post-heart surgery to nervous-system generated unrelenting pain disorders, various forms of cancer, and less severe but also challenging sports-related injuries.
Devin follows an evidence-based approach to Massage and believes that Massage Therapy plays an important role in patient recovery from injury, managing chronic pain, decreasing stress, boosting immune system function through improved sleep, as well as having numerous other benefits.
Fluent in English and French, Devin has also spent several years learning Japanese and can speak and read at a basic level.
Devin is passionate about nature, travel, family, and self-improvement. He moved with his wife and 2 young children to BC recently and is looking forward to many new adventures!
