JASON LIU

Jason Liu, Registered Acupuncturist

Jason completed his Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 2004. During his studies at SFU, he also obtained a certificate in Health and Fitness studies. He also completed two additional years of co-operative education in kinesiology which helped him to gain enormous experience in the field of active rehabilitation, ergonomics and health/fitness.


Although Jason had his training as a Kinesiologist, he has always been intrigued and influenced by Oriental medicine in a positive way while growing up. He embraces the idea of seeing and treating a person as a whole. This led him to pursue his studies in Chinese medicine, where he completed a four-year Traditional Chinese Medicine diploma program at Central College of Oriental Medicine. He is a registered acupuncturist with CTCMA (college of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists of BC) who has been practicing in the lower mainland since 2009. During your visit, Jason uses acupuncture, cupping therapy, or electric acupuncture therapy to assist with your recovery.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. He also has a strong passion for riding motorcycles and fishing. He also volunteers on a regular basis with his local church and in his community. You will often see him riding on his motorcycle and scooter around town or out on the local lakes and rivers fishing.
