Prabh completed the massage therapy program at Vancouver Career College in Burnaby. He chose to be registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia as a career due to the fact that there are many problems that can be solved and prevented through massage therapy as a form of treatment. Many issues and situations that are first tried to be treated with medications can be easily solved through Massage Therapy. Medications can have potential negative effects on the body and a person’s lifestyle. Believing that Massage Therapy can be used to prevent conditions, heal and restore the body.
Coming from an athletic background, he understands how stressful it can be to not be able to do what you like and excel at it. Therefore, Prabh believes that working closely with his patients is key in order to provide the best care. To do so, he listens to the patient’s complaints and issues, works with you on developing a complete and whole treatment plan. During your appointment Prabh likes to explain his findings. This helps you understand what is happening in your body as well as how to treat, resolve and manage moving forward. Prabh uses a variety of techniques such as Traditional Swedish, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Therapy, Joint Mobilization, and Passive Stretching techniques. The treatment is always followed by a homecare plan in order to help the patient maintain the level of effectiveness of the treatment.
In the near future, Prabh plans on furthering his education and successfully completing the Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Western States Chiropractic College. He plans to continue his studies in the field of medicine.
In his spare time, you can catch him playing basketball or hockey with a group of friends. He also loves to travel around the Lower Mainland and explore the different shopping malls and parks of the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley.
