Seema graduated in 2004 from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. She worked as a Physiotherapy Intern at St. Johns Medical College Hospital, Bangalore, giving her experience with a wide variety of patients in the acute and rehabilitation setting. Seema was a registered member with Health Professions Council, UK. She has worked as a Community Physiotherapist in England.
Seema immigrated to Canada in 2010 and completed an IEP program from UBC in 2013, and wrote the Canadian Physiotherapy National Exam. In the recent past, Seema worked with big organisations, namely Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health, and boasts a great understanding of Canada’s Health Insurance system.
Seema is an experienced therapist who helps her patients achieve their health goals quickly. Using a thorough assessment, Seema identifies the underlying problem and provides her patients with the necessary information to prevent injury re-occurrence in the future. She includes one on one treatment sessions, which may include a combination of manual therapy, modalities and exercise.
Outside of physiotherapy Seema enjoys going to the gym and spending time away near the coast.
