ROI ROLLINS

Roi Rollins, Registered Massage Therapist

Roi Rollins (RMT), a graduate of the Vancouver Career College as a Registered Massage Therapist, firmly believes that healing treatments for the body start with the mind and lifestyle of an individual. After that, support of a skilled massage therapist optimizes the body’s ability to recover and heal.

Whether he is treating someone for orthopedic and systemic conditions or providing relaxation relief for chronic stress, Roi develops patient-centred treatment plans, as each person is unique. Combining systemic deep tissue therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Graston Technique, Kineso Taping, and other techniques, he works to maximize joint mobilization.

As an athlete, Roi knows the value of massage therapy because he has been injured numerous times during Mixed Martial Arts training and swimming as well as a motor vehicle accident. By overcoming his own pain and making a full recovery, he has direct knowledge and deeper empathy for his patients. Roi knows firsthand that proper treatment can fully restore bodies and lives to pre-injury conditions. He is living proof.

Roi understands that massage therapy—especially myofascial release work— is fundamental to restoring the wellbeing of people who come to him with serious injuries or debilitating conditions. In addition, massage provides much relief for headaches and chronic pain caused by prolonged computer use and sedentary lifestyles.

Inspired by the amount of help he received during his own recovery, Roi is passionate about helping others to regain their vitality. They also affirm what one of his teachers told him long ago — “Roi has talented and gifted hands."
